Bei Bayer sind die dringend notwendingen Goodwill Abschreibung sicherlich kein alter Hut. Hinzukommt, dass auch die Aufseher langsam unruhig über die tickende Zeitbombe Goodwill werden: IOSCO Recommendations on Accounting for Goodwill: "...This includes ensuring that goodwill is NOT STATED IN EXCESS of its recoverable amount, and that impairment losses are recognised in a timely manner. In addition, it is also critical that disclosure provides necessary information to investors about the assumptions an issuer makes about the future, and other major sources of estimation uncertainties." https://www.iosco.org/library/pubdocs/pdf/IOSCOPD753.pdf
Das ist, bitte nicht als negativ und persönlich auffassen, ein alter Hut. Seitdem man nach IFRS bilanzieren muss, ist der alte Grundsatz, dass Goodwill jedes Jahr anteilig abzuschreiben ist, weggefallen. Die angloamerikanische Sichtweise ist eben sehr kurzfristig und kurzsichtig.
