😱 MicroStrategy acquires 705 Bitcoins for $75.1M MicroStrategy Incorporated, doing business as Strategy, acquired 705 Bitcoins for about $75.1 million in cash in the week between May 26 and June 1, according to the company's Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing released on Monday. The company said it bought Bitcoin at an average price of approximately $106,495 per Bitcoin, which included fees and expenses, adding that the transaction was financed with "proceeds from the STRK ATM and STRF ATM." According to the SEC filing, Strategy and its subsidiaries currently own 580,955 Bitcoins, bought at an aggregate price of approximately $40.68 billion, or about $70,023 per Bitcoin. The company's shares fell by 0.45% during premarket trading after the filing's release, selling at $367.40 apiece.
