BYD auf jeden Fall aber vllt kann man sich besser erklären warum Autohersteller ein kgv von 3-10 haben. BYD ist ein Hammer Unternehmen und wird sehr gross werden, aber die Konkurrenz ist halt riesig. Apple hatte 4 Konkurrenten, BYD 100.

BYD is offering 18k RMB discount on frigate 07 family of SUVs for January (MSRP 202.8-289.8)
Suggests to me large scale BYD discounts will extend beyond Dec, as it seeks to take market share away from legacy ICE
Also, Frigate 07 & Tang are increasingly not competitive in this price segment
Let's wait & see, if BYD's costs are low enough, then it can afford to extend discounts past end of yr sales push

Recent patent filing from BYD shows automatic battery swapping device for AGVs
When Seal was launched, a CTB pack was shown to go thru nail/weight testing b4 being installed in Seal & driven away
So swapping tech should not be hard if BYD want to roll out to more EVs
will we see BYD putting swappable batteries in HDTs or long range buses or similar commercial vehicles?

BYD has invested in Senodia semiconductor, who previously received funding from HW, CFT Capital & various local govt
Senodia designs consumer/auto grade MEMS gyroscope & 6-axis Inertial measurement unit (IMU)
IMU is very important in L4 ADAS, robotics, drones & other autonomous h/w systems for the purpose of navigation & stability & such
