CATL unveiled the condensed battery design with density of 500 Wh/kg ithome.com/0/687/410.htm This is quite the game changer. They are even testing it out on electric aircraft! Such density level should be sufficient for 99.9% of ground transportation scenarios Will be interesting to see where the industry goes, since this initial design is higher than density of all the semi solid state batteries. Will other battery makers be able to catch up to CATL in high density batteries?

BYD Seagull received over 10k orders in 1st 24hrs. Less than what I expected actually, but it took Wuling Bingo 2 weeks+ to reach this mark
