JPMorgan issued a report after its automotive team visited major offshore stores for BYD COMPANY in Japan, Thailand, France, Germany, Singapore and Hong Kong in the past few weeks. The broker maintained a positive view on BYD's H-shares, expecting potential upside from its local electric vehicle business and overseas expansion. JPM raised its revenue forecast for 2023 to 2025 by 11%-17% and its net profit forecast by 30%-58%. The broker also lifted its H-share target price from $275 to $300 and rated it Overweight. JPM said mainland auto stocks rebounded about 6% last week, outperforming the 4% rise by the HSCEI over the same period, mainly due to policy stimulus news, price cuts by some car companies and potential short covering activities. The investment sentiment is turning positive, with BYD expected to be one of the beneficiaries of China's rural subsidy or nationwide promotion campaign, even though limited details are known about it. JPM liked BYD's leading position in the local EV market, especially for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), and believed the export market offers long-term upside. BYD's H-share also remained as the broker's preferred Auto OEM pick.

Wir hatten insgesamt einen starken Juni bisher, das gilt für einige Aktien. Die Börse ist aber immer noch keine Einbahnstraße.

BYD wird langfristig steigen. Aber ein bisschen wankelmütig ist sie leider auch. Falls sie nochmals richtig einsacken sollte, gehe ich nochmals rein.
