Ich denke, dass ich die Vision von Wingefors verstanden habe. Daher bin ich investiert. Zudem ist die Markenpower mittlerweile wirklich beeindruckend und spiegelt sich momentan nicht wirklich in der Bewertung wieder, finde ich. Ist halt gerade ne schwierige Phase für die Branche.

Habt ihr den Bericht der Financal Times über Embracer gelesen? Kam im März raus.

Dass der kurz trotz relativ dickem Release quasi überhaupt nicht reagiert finde ich schon bemerkenswert. Grundsätzlich ist ja die Idee, dass einzelne releases weniger Impact haben durch das breite Portfolio. Aber wehe hier wird Mal ein Release vermurkst.. schade dass da nichts geht.

Four hedge funds with short positions in the group outlined concerns to the FT. Among the issues they raised are: the difficulty in assessing the company’s financial performance due to repeated internal reorganisations and a switch from local to international accounting standards; accounting practices around newly purchased companies that may obscure the group’s underlying performance; and a belief that the company is poorly positioned for a wider downturn in the gaming sector after a coronavirus pandemic-fuelled boom. “They’ve been acquiring all these companies, so you can’t get to their organic growth at any time,” said an investment manager at a British hedge fund that holds a short position. “The reality is that when the music stops, they’ll start to struggle to pay down debt.”
