Wolfspeed , the silicon carbide technologies company, was downgraded to Underperform from Neutral at Mizuho and the price target was reduced to $8 from $17. The stock was falling 5.3% to $8.67.

Car and City: China’s monthly new energy passenger vehicle registrations hit new high in Aug. 2024
Of the PVs registered in August, 1,011,202 units were contributed by the new energy vehicle (NEV) sector, marking a highest-ever volume on a monthly basis.
In the eighth month of 2024, there were a total of 1,935,668 locally-produced passenger vehicles (PVs) registered across the Chinese Mainland, representing a 3.32% year-on-year (YoY) growth and a 9.35% month-on-month increase, according to the data compiled by the Gasgoo Auto Research Institute ("GARI").
Of the PVs registered in August, 1,011,202 units were contributed by the new energy vehicle (NEV) sector, marking a highest-ever volume on a monthly basis.

STMicroelectronics ist der größte Wettbewerber mit einer sehr ähnlich breiten Produktpalette. Und vor allem beim SiC. Auch in der IoT-Anwendung setzt Infineon auf KI. Heist Anwendungen 'on the edge'. Also nicht in der 'Cloud'

Bin seit kurzem bei Infineon eingestiegen.
Bin mal gespannt, was das hier wird.
Korrekturen gibts immer wieder, grade wenn Krieg im Spiel ist.
Könnte mir aber vorstellen, dass es hier bald wieder gut laufen kann.
