Juni 2018 18:27 Beschluss in der Chamber Luxemburg erlaubt künftig Cannabis auf Rezept LUXEMBURG – Die Nutzung von Cannabis für medizinische Zwecke ist in Luxemburg künftig legal. Die Chamber gab am Donnerstag grünes Licht für die Freigabe. In Luxemburg können Patienten künftig legal medizinisches Cannabis erwerben. Damit ist das Großherzogtum eines der ersten Länder in Europa, das medizinisches Marihuana für den nationalen Markt freigibt. Der Gesetzentwurf ist am Donnerstag einstimmig von der Chamber angenommen worden. Der Konsum von Cannabis zu Genusszwecken bleibt jedoch weiterhin verboten. Der Hanf, dem eine lindernde Wirkung bei chronischen Erkrankungen und Schmerzen nachgesagt wird, soll nur in den Apotheken der vier Krankenhäuser gegen Vorlage einer ärztlichen Verordnung erhältlich sein, die Weitergabe unterliegt strengen Kriterien. Der THC-Wirkstoff wird nicht geraucht, sondern in Form von Kapseln, Tropfen oder Ölen eingenommen. Luxemburg wird das medizinische Cannabis aus Kanada importieren. Eine Evaluierung der neuen Vorschriften ist in zwei Jahren vorgesehen. Dann soll erhoben werden, wie viele Patienten Marihuana verschrieben wurde und gegebenenfalls die Liste der betroffenen Krankheiten erweitert werden.
