$NVO is preparing for the launch of the Medicare GLP-1 program on July 1, and new patient research suggests strong demand for Oral Wegovy.
According to Novo Nordisk's U.S. head, Jamey Millar, three out of four surveyed Medicare patients expressed a preference between a pill and an injection, and among those patients, roughly twice as many preferred the Wegovy pill.
Through the temporary Medicare program, eligible patients will be able to access obesity treatment for a $50 monthly copay.
Novo says it has approached the rollout like a major drug launch, though management remains cautious about predicting how quickly prescription volumes will increase once the program begins.

Wie ich vor ein paar Tagen geschrieben habe könnte ich mir sogar vorstellen, dass novo dieses Jahr schon wächst. Gab ja schon analysten die sehen das novo am oberen Rand der eigenen Prognose ist.
