Declaring Nvidia its "top compute pick" in 2022, Bank of America doubled down on its buy rating on Nvidia stock. Its $375 price target forecasts a 33% run-up for Nvidia shares this year, on top of the more than 100% gain they scored last year A "robust gaming environment" among PC players will work to Nvidia's benefit this year, BofA said in a note covered today on StreetInsider.com. The analyst said 50% of Nvidia gamers are using a GPU more than five years old and really need an upgrade if they want to be able to compete with other video gamers on a level playing field. BofA sees the biggest opportunity in Nvidia's 7nm Ampere GPUs. Just 14% of gamers have upgraded to the latest Ampere generation, the analyst said. And given that a typical upgrade cycle reaches more than 40% penetration, it said, this implies that Ampere sales could nearly triple existing levels, and at very high profit margins.

January 07, 2022 3:37 pm The Nvidia Analyst: Rajvindra Gill named Nvidia Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) as his top AI/ML pickup for 2022. The analyst has a Buy rating on Nvidia shares and $400 price target, suggesting over 40% upside from current levels. The Nvidia Thesis: Nvidia has seen significant growth in both its Gaming and Data Center business thanks to growing adoption of new "RTX" capable GPUs by gamers and proliferation of AI workloads and ML in Data Centers, analyst Gill said in a note. Only 25% of the current 250 million GeForce installed base is RTX-enabled, suggesting a lengthy upgrade cycle ahead and more Gaming upside, the analyst said.

Jetzt geht es trotzdem mal runter. KGV von 84.11 und Forward PE 60 kann nicht gut kommen. Da ist so viel Zukunfts Musik schon in diesem Kurs. Und keiner weiss wie gross die Marktanteile von Nvidia zukünftig sein werden.

12 Mio haben es aber noch Nvidia's (NASDAQ:NVDA) GeForce Now cloud gaming service officially launched last year after spending a few years in beta testing. Membership has more than doubled to more than 12 million gamers.
