Pentagon awards $480 million deal to Palantir for 'Maven' prototype (Reuters) -Palantir has won a $480 million contract from the U.S. Department of Defense for a prototype known as the Maven Smart System, the department said on Wednesday, deepening the data analytics provider's work with the Pentagon. Was ich soweit verstanden habe ist, daß das US-militär nahezu zu 100% auf palantir-sw wie Titan und Maven setzt. Die Krisen dieser Tage erfordern weiterhin immense Investitionen der freien westlichen Demokratien um diese zu verteidigen. Die US-Regierung, wie ich es übersetzt habe, setzt zu 100 % auf dieses SW-Unternehmen für seine militärische Entwicklung, was es auf diesem Gebiet absolut konkurrenzlos macht. Das aktuelle Wachstum sowie der Preis per share sind im Moment eher bescheiden, aber da die Märkte sehr weitsichtig und zukunftsorientiert funktionieren sollte Palantir überproportional wahrgenommen werden und auch performen. Es ist die Rede von schlechtesten 35 $ bis bestens um die 600 $. In der 20er Dekade, wo wir ja bereits mittendrin sind. Dazu noch nebenbei die überaus positive kommertielle Entwicklung.
Mein Fazit: very, very bullisch👍
Das alles lediglich imo und keine Grundlage für persönliche Entscheidungen. Gell.

Palantir Technologies: The Market Is Too Optimistic
Palantir reported 21% top-line growth in Q1/24 and continued to improve its margins as especially commercial revenue is contributing to growth.
The stock is still overvalued and considering the ongoing dilution, PLTR has to grow about 30% to be fairly valued.
The company is clearly hyped, and generative AI is at the top of the hype cycle right now.
