'On Tuesday, Salesforce announced Missionforce, a national-security business unit focused on integrating artificial intelligence into defense workflows. Salesforce has partnered with various federal agencies in the past, and in July the company was awarded a $100 million Enterprise License Agreement from the U.S. Army.'
'Despite Palantir’s success, some investors believe Palantir is trading at an unsustainably high valuation, especially since it brings in a fraction of Salesforce’s revenue. Palantir crossed $1 billion of quarterly revenue in July, and the company earned $2.87 billion in revenue in fiscal 2024. In comparison, Salesforce posted $10.24 billion in revenue for its most recent quarter and $37.90 billion for fiscal 2024. Yet Palantir’s market capitalization exceeds $406 billion while Salesforce’s market capitalization is below $231 billion.'
