Sechs SMR-Kraftwerke in Polen genehmigt. Insgesamt sind an den Standorten 24 Reaktoren geplant. Polen sieht die Kernenergie als Teil seines ehrgeizigen Plans zum Ausstieg aus der Kohle, wobei emissionsfreie Energiequellen bis zum Ende des Jahrzehnts voraussichtlich 68 % der Stromerzeugung ausmachen werden.
