Zenas BioPharma (Nasdaq: ZBIO) hob hervor, dass der Partner InnoCare das primäre Endziel in einer Phase-2b-Studie von Orelabrutinib bei systemischer Lupus-Erithämatodes (SLE) am 15. Dezember 2025 erreicht hat. In einer randomisierten Studie mit 187 Patienten (1:1:1) betrug die SRI‑4‑Antwortrate bei 75 mg Orelabrutinib 75 mg/Tag 57,1% gegenüber 34,4% Placebo in Woche 48 (p < 0,05). Die 75‑mg-Dosis zeigte einen dosisabhängigen Vorteil gegenüber 50 mg und erreichte höhere SRI‑6- und BICLA‑Antwortraten (p < 0,05). Orelabrutinib wurde als gut verträglich gemeldet. Separat hat die chinesische CDE ein Phase-3-registrationales Prüfung zur SLE genehmigt, und Zenas behält kommerzielle/entwicklungsrechte für MS und bestimmte non-oncology Gebiete gemäß einer Lizenz vom Oktober 2025.
