Das mit den Macht Spielchen ist schon klar. Powell absetzen und die Märkte Märkte mit Geld schwemmen kann aber übel enden. Am besten wäre vermutlich gewesen, wenn er die unter der Biden Ära angefangene Zinssenkung sanfte fortgesetzt hätte.

Das mit dem,Zinssatz war vermutlich wenig überraschend. Die Rede vom Paul wird vermutlich mehr zum einknicken der Märkte geführt haben. Der sieht wegen den Zöllen die Inflation wieder aufflammen."Powell: Tariffs starting to show in consumer prices
Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell said on Wednesday that US President Donald Trump's tariffs are making some goods more expensive and that inflation expectations have also moved up as a result.
"Increased tariffs are pushing up prices in some categories of goods. Near-term measures of inflation expectations have moved up on balance over the course of this year on news about tariffs," he said.
However, the policymaker added that the overall economic impact of tariffs "remains to be seen" as it is "too early" to gauge the "full impact" that the levies will have on economic activity and inflation. "Retailers are paying most of this for now," he added. "I think we learned that the process will probably be slower than we expected at the beginning"

Die US-Notenbank Federal Reserve hält den Leitzins hoch und lässt den Ruf nach einer Lockerung aus dem Weißen Haus verhallen. Die unabhängigen Währungshüter um Fed-Chef Jerome Powell beließen den geldpolitischen Schlüsselsatz am Mittwoch in der Spanne von 4,25 bis 4,50 Prozent.
