Its new HuaiAn plant just came online, fully automated, 100k/yr capacity. Fully dedicated to micro, light & heavy trucks.
Expect BYD to really get into commercial vehicle sales in 2024.

On this new yr, fresh reminder BYD sells more than EVs
It also has BYDE - phone/tablet EMS, iRobot, PCs & motorcycles
BYD New Energy - Solar, ESS, Illumination, new material & semiconductor, entirely global business
BYD Rail - Mostly Skyrail, transport BYD employees on campus & various public transportation
It also has Fudi motor, Fudi battery, Fudi Tech, Fudi precision work & Fudi Vision -> Full EV & new energy supply chain
BYD's auto suppliers are always nervous bc BYD might replace them w/ internal product next
So next time someone tells you Tesla is worth 8x more, because it's an "AI company".
Remind them of all this + BYD having 90000+ researchers developing everything & applying AI along the way
Calling yourself an AI company means nothing
Having products that showcase AI mean something
