Kraken's synthetic aperture sonar (SAS) technologies were featured in a recent documentary by CBC/Radio-Canada. The film crew toured our Newfoundland headquarters and witnessed the KATFISH being tested. There is also a behind-the-scenes look at Kraken MINSAS data gathered during a research cruise led by Dr. John Jamieson, Canada Research Chair in Marine Geology at Memorial University, Newfoundland and Labrador, with PhD student Caroline Gini. The cruise aboard Schmidt Ocean Institute's vessel took place off the coast of the Galapagos Islands. The documentary highlights the large variety of applications where Kraken SAS could be advantageous, including deep sea mining for rare minerals. Vielleicht ein Grund für den Anstieg gestern. Besonderes interessant finde ich den Satz, dass man die Partnerschaft auf weitere Partner ausweiten möchte. Kraken als Andurils-Zulieferer für uuv Komponenten und seinem RAS könnte ich mir sehr gut vorstellen.
