$SMCI last 2 days there have been 20M shares in dark pool activity---someone is buying these shares combined with huge long term call option purchases---someone is building a massive position for the eventual ride up whether its soon or in a year doesn't matter Just buy shares and hold ---continue adding on these type of days · Reply

$SMCI the massive Gold and Silver sell-off is causing this. When both stocks and safe assets (like gold or Treasuries) fall at the same time, it usually isn’t because the outlook suddenly changed — it’s mechanical. Leveraged funds get margin calls or face redemptions, so they dump whatever they can sell easily. That includes gold and the biggest, most liquid stocks like SMCI. It’s less about fear of inflation or rates, China or a Trump tweet and more about “we need cash now. That's the bottom line. Rechenzentrenbetreiber sind hier Equinix, Digital Reality, Iron Mountain., ...
Google betreibt teilweise eigene RZs.
Der Bedarf durch KI und andere Nutzung steigt immer mehr.
Ob der Kurs von Supermicro weiterhin so stark steigt ist die Frage.
Da es noch weitere Serverhersteller gibt, die teilweise günstiger sind

Was den von Dir erwähnten Bereich Rechenzentren angeht: Alphabet und Meta sehr stark. Die beiden machen zusammen etwa 1/3 meines Depots aus. SMCI gut 2%. Berkshire habe ich auch (11% Depotanteil), die besitzen immer noch einiges an Apple Aktien. Aber Rechenzentren haben heute sehr viele Firmen. Also eigentlich müsste ich dann noch viel mehr aufzählen.
… aber wer konkret baut und bewirtschaftet die Rechenzentren oder liefert denen die Energie?

Bei der Aktie von Super Micro Computer stellt sich die Frage, ob hier gewaltiges Potenzial besteht oder hohe Verluste drohen. Seit Jahresanfang bewegt sie sich in einer sehr breiten Range von 28 bis 55 €. Seit September befindet sie sich im Aufwärtstrend und steht am Freitag aktuell bei 44 €. Zur Zeit sieht es danach aus, dass der Umsatz weiter massiv steigt und die Gewinnspange unter Druck ist. Insgesamt also eine gute Entwicklung. Diese Aktie bietet sehr große Chancen, aber natürlich gibt es auch Risiken. Letztlich muss das jeder für sich bewerten. Ich bleibe investiert. Aber nur mit relativ wenig Geld. Ungefähr 1,2% meines Depots ist das Invest. Aktueller Wert ist 2,2% meines Depots.
