BYD CEO Wang Chuanfu says his company has a huge head count of 660k employees (FYI, Tesla has over 120k) & longs for full production automation at all BYD plants to reduce head count by 600k for cost savings. This is an unsolvable problem. Unmanned autonomous driving is tens of thousands times more difficult than factory automation. He then concludes self driving is not viable (he literally calls it BS) & ADAS is here to stay.
