Trotz des drohenden Totalverlustes war die Varta-Aktie am Freitag noch gut 160 Millionen Euro wert. Denn Kleinaktionäre und spekulative Anleger setzten darauf, dass sie wenigstens das Recht erhielten, an einer Kapitalerhöhung teilzunehmen. Doch sie gehen leer aus, Varta wird von der Börse genommen. „Wir haben alles versucht, die Kleinaktionäre noch an Bord zu holen - aber das ist in dieser Situation rechtlich nicht möglich“, sagte Ostermann.

Wieso sollten neue Aktionäre jetzt kaufen, wenn sie jetzt, wo die Einigung im StaRUG erzielt ist, doch leer ausgehen? Eher verkaufen jetzt alle, die doch noch gehofft haben, dass es anders kommt. Delisting kommt jetzt dann auch: "Any restructuring plan would include a reduction of the company`s share capital to zero.
