wie bitte, da fallen dann ja nochmal 50% der Verkäufe weg? das ist für mich jetzt schon ein Wenig enttäuschend. Ist jedoch wieder eine Kurzfristige Sichtweise, langfristig logischerweise schon ein logischer Schritt.

Destroy Tesla" is what the internet loves to demand from Xiaomi. At the event, Lei Jun pulled out the YU7’s sales numbers from launch up to April. As he put it, taking on the Model Y and walking away with a "two wins, eight losses" outcome is honestly impressive for a brand new EV maker.
He noted that with Tesla's 5-year interest-free promo running, the price difference between the current YU7 trims and the Model Y just isn't big enough yet, despite Xiaomi beating them on specs.
So tonight, Xiaomi launched the YU7 Standard Edition to lower the entry barrier. At 233.5K RMB ($34.3K), it undercuts the entry-level Model Y by a solid 30K RMB ($4.4K).
