IRAN CLAIMS U.S. BROKE CEASEFIRE, VOWS RETALIATION
“Reports in Iran say a spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters accused U.S. forces of violating the ceasefire by attacking Iranian oil tankers near the Strait of Hormuz and launching airstrikes on civilian areas around Bandar Khamir, Sirik, and Qeshm Island, allegedly with support from regional allies.
Iran says its armed forces responded immediately by targeting U.S. military vessels in the eastern Strait of Hormuz and south of Chabahar, claiming significant damage was inflicted.
The statement warns that Iran will continue to respond forcefully and without hesitation to any future attacks.”
