$NVO launching Wegovy in Oman.
About 71% of adults in Oman is either overweight or obese. About 2.5 million.
I hope NVO also has filed for wegovy pill in Oman. Prices is in general quite high in this area..
Sadley NVO did not make a broad filing of wegovy pill back in 1. half 2025. If they had that, they could had made several very target launches at higher prices in US.
Another missed opportunity. But so fare the new CEO has lived up to his promises by being much more aggressive. Take faster decisions.
I expect we will both see and hear more about what that also means for their internal pipeline. Some programs that will be turbocharged. Both by moving faster from P1 to P3. But also more broad trials for specific molecules. And faster filing in more countries.

Another new wegovy launch. This one in Malaysia.
$NVO start 2026 with some headwinds from loss of patent protection in some countries. One of several way to counter that, is expanding and growing even more in IO (international operations)
It’s the same with yesterday’s post about Australia starting to subsidise wegovy for a specific patient group. That Australia government currently is negotiating with $NVO to cover that whole patient group.

Der Markt spielt auch verrückt. Kann man gut am Silberpreis ablesen. Der Abschlag bei Novo ist auch sehr emotional getrieben. Da bin ich erstmal gaaaanz entspannt
